لكن السؤال الذي يطرح نفسه اليوم هو : هل يكفي راتب الموظف السوري لتغطية هذه الاحتياجات، أم أن الراتب ينتهي قبل أن ينتهي الشهر؟

وهذا يدفع بعض العائلات إلى الانتقال إلى مناطق أبعد وأقل تكلفة، أو مشاركة السكن، أو الاعتماد على مساعدة الأقارب

فالوقود يدخل في نقل الخضار والمواد الغذائية، ونقل الموظفين والطلاب، وتشغيل الآليات والمولدات، وغيرها من التفاصيل اليومية.
ولهذا فإن المواطن عندما يسمع عن ارتفاع سعر المازوت أو البنزين، لا يفكر فقط في تكلفة تعبئة سيارته، بل يسأل عن تأثير القرار على أجرة السرفيس وعلى أسعار المواد الموجودة في السوق.
الراتب أمام كل هذه المصاريف
إذا كان الموظف يعيل أسرة، فالمشكلة تصبح أكبر .. هناك مصاريف الطعام اليومية، وأجرة النقل، والإيجار لمن لا يملك منزلًا، والكهرباء والمياه، إضافة إلى الهاتف والإنترنت والملابس والتعليم والطبابة والمصاريف الطارئة.
وبمجرد ظهور مصروف غير محسوب، مثل مرض أحد أفراد الأسرة أو عطل في المنزل، قد يجد الموظف نفسه مضطرًا إلى الاستدانة أو طلب المساعدة. وهنا لا يعود الراتب مخصصًا للمعيشة فقط، بل يصبح محاولة لتوزيع مبلغ محدود على عدد كبير من الاحتياجات.
هل تكفي زيادة الرواتب؟
زيادة الراتب تساعد بالتأكيد، لكنها لا تحل المشكلة وحدها إذا استمرت الأسعار بالارتفاع الموظف ينظر إلى راتبه من زاوية مختلفة عن الأرقام الرسمية، ما يهمه في النهاية هو ما يستطيع شراءه بهذا الراتب. فإذا حصل على زيادة في الأجر، لكنه دفع جزءًا كبيرًا منها بسبب ارتفاع النقل والطعام والإيجار والخدمات، فإن أثر الزيادة على حياته اليومية سيكون محدودًا.
ولهذا فإن الحديث عن تحسين مستوى معيشة الموظفين لا يرتبط بالرواتب فقط، وإنما أيضًا بضبط الأسعار وتحسين الخدمات وتخفيف تكاليف النقل والسكن والطاقة
من أكثر المؤشرات وضوحًا على صعوبة الوضع المعيشي أن كثيرًا من الموظفين لم يعد يفكرون بالادخار أصلًا الراتب بالنسبة إلى بعض الأسر ينتهي بين الاحتياجات الأساسية، وأي مبلغ متبقٍ يتم الاحتفاظ به للطوارئ وليس للادخار الحقيقي. وهذا يجعل الأسرة أكثر هشاشة أمام أي ارتفاع جديد في الأسعار أو أي ظرف طارئ.
كما يدفع بعض الموظفين إلى البحث عن عمل إضافي بعد انتهاء الدوام، أو الاعتماد على أعمال جانبية، في محاولة لتعويض الفرق بين الراتب والمصاريف
في النهاية، المشكلة ليست فقط في قيمة الراتب، وإنما في المسافة بين الراتب وتكاليف الحياة، فالموظف لا يحتاج فقط إلى معرفة قيمة راتبه، بل إلى معرفة ماذا يستطيع أن يفعل بهذا الراتب، هل يستطيع تأمين طعام أسرته؟ هل يستطيع دفع الإيجار؟ هل يستطيع تحمل أجور النقل؟ هل يبقى لديه ما يكفي للكهرباء والمياه والطبابة والتعليم؟
هذه الأسئلة هي التي تحدد حقيقة الوضع المعيشي، وليس الرقم المكتوب في قسيمة الراتب.
ومع استمرار ارتفاع تكاليف المعيشة، يبقى السؤال مفتوحًا أمام الجهات المعنية.. كيف يمكن أن يصبح راتب الموظف متناسبًا مع حياة المواطن الفعلية، وليس مع الأرقام الموجودة على الورق؟
فالموظف الذي يعمل طوال الشهر لا يريد فقط راتبًا يصل إليه في موعده، بل يريد أن يشعر أن هذا الراتب قادر على تأمين حياة مقبولة له ولأسرته.
