شهد القصر العدلي في دمشق، صباح يوم الأربعاء 24 حزيران، انطلاق أولى جلسات محاكمة وسيم الأسد، ابن عم رئيس النظام المخلوع بشار الأسد، أمام محكمة الجنايات الرابعة، على خلفية اتهامات تتعلق بارتكاب جرائم وانتهاكات بحق السوريين خلال السنوات الماضية
وبحسب ما أفاد به مراسل تلفزيون سوريا، مثل وسيم الأسد أمام هيئة المحكمة التي باشرت بتلاوة لائحة الاتهام الموجهة إليه، فيما أتاحت وزارة العدل السورية متابعة مجريات الجلسة عبر بث مباشر نشرته على منصاتها الرسمية، حيث ظهر المتهم داخل قفص الاتهام أثناء إجراءات المحاكمة
وتعود القضية إلى 21 حزيران 2025، حين أعلنت وزارة الداخلية السورية توقيف وسيم الأسد خلال عملية أمنية نفذها جهاز الاستخبارات العامة بالتنسيق مع الجهات المختصة، بعد استدراجه وإلقاء القبض عليه ضمن ما وصفته الوزارة بعملية أمنية محكمة
وأوضح المتحدث باسم وزارة الداخلية، نور الدين البابا، أن الاتهامات الموجهة إلى وسيم الأسد تستند إلى وثائق وأدلة مباشرة، تشمل الاتجار بالمخدرات، والخطف القسري، وممارسة التعذيب، إضافة إلى ملفات أخرى مرتبطة بالمعتقلين السوريين
وأضاف البابا أن التحقيقات أظهرت مشاركة وسيم الأسد في عمليات عسكرية إلى جانب ميليشيات النظام البائد ضد السوريين، مشيرًا إلى أن جزءًا من الأدلة يعتمد على نشاطه العلني ومنشوراته عبر مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي
وأكد أن التحقيقات ما تزال مستمرة، وقد تفضي إلى الكشف عن جرائم وانتهاكات إضافية يُشتبه بتورطه فيها، بالتزامن مع استكمال جمع الأدلة والإجراءات القضائية اللازمة
وفي ما يتعلق بالشق المالي من القضية، أوضح البابا أن الأنشطة غير القانونية المنسوبة إلى وسيم الأسد مكّنته من تحقيق ثروات ضخمة تُقدّر بمئات ملايين الدولارات، مشيرًا إلى أن القسم الأكبر منها جاء من تجارة المخدرات وابتزاز السوريين والمتاجرة بملفات المعتقلين ومصائرهم
كما لفت إلى أن مصير الأموال والأصول العائدة له داخل سوريا وخارجها سيُحسم عبر القضاء المختص، في حين ستتابع وزارة الخارجية، بالتنسيق مع وزارتي العدل والداخلية، إجراءات استرداد الأصول والأموال المجمدة في الخارج من خلال المسارات القانونية وتقديم الوثائق والأدلة المطلوبة للجهات المعنية
