The minister of reconciliation ” Ali Heydar” linked to regime announced through Alwatan pro-regimat the newspaper that the rate of deceitful who extort people about the reconciling has decreased a lot than before; while Syrian lawyers Syndic and the head of Human Rights and Freedom Committee said in Alshaaeb Counsel ( The Parliament) that the syndicate had sued way cases against lawyers who blackmailed citizens considering this issue asking for a lot of momey.
“Heydar” confirmed that the rate had decreased due to the efforts carried outs by governors and the coordination between ministries of justice and interior in addition to the ministry of reconciliation where there were several people who claimed to be of reconciliation committees but on reality they were exploiting citizens taking a lot of money particularly speaking about the kidnapped who were estimated according to what Heydar reported 15 thousand people all around Syria, the number is likely to increase because of the almost daily adduction cases.
Although Heydar described those exploiters as deceitful, in reality they are protected by regime for they would not dare to exercise this experience specially in regime held territories since it provides them and their supporters of officers and officials with a lot money. The goal of the reconciliation commission according to what they claim to coordinate between the relatives of abducted or arrested in order to release them and knowing who is responsible for kidnapping them to negotiate with them. It also supervises evacuating civilians from besieged districts and exchanging captures. In addition it plays role in settling the states of who are labelled armed men by regime who were manipulated to stand against the government and fighting it, after the amnesty issued for delivering their weapons.
As usual one once hearing the statements of regime officials for the first moment thinks that the war in Syria is coming to an end and that they are fighting corruptibility carrying out procedures against them. However, the reality denies this where every Syrians admits that corruption and exploitation of citizens are so clear and done at day with the support of important officials.
Om-Abdell Kareem narrated her story with a lawyer : “My son was arrested in a regime prisons with the charge of going in demonstrations against the government, I went to a lawyer to talk for me with reconciliation commission in order to release him. He asked me for a lot of money (3 million Syrian pound). He told me that once taking the money , he would guarantee my son release from prison. I can not afford that amount of money. I tried with others but without a point; we are living in a time in which there are no manners any more.. no one do yoy a favor without something in return”.
With the aggravated Syrian crisis, we come to notice that arrestment and abduction cases which are accompanied with exploitation and utilizing at the time Heydar declared that is has decreased. Omar who is form Hama countryside commented with anger on the statement, said: ” Stop mocking and laughing at us .. what a reconciliation commission .. if any one wants to know what is the prison of the arrested, he will pay a big amount of money .. stop telling us you are doing a humanitarian duty and that you are banishing corrupted people. We have reached this point due to your greed and avarice in your hearts”.
