طوت مكتب الأمم المتحدة لتنسيق الشؤون الإنسانية صفحة عمليات إدخال المساعدات الإنسانية إلى سوريا عبر الحدود التركية، بعد أكثر من عقد من العمل الإغاثي الذي رافق سنوات الحرب والأزمة الإنسانية في البلاد
وأوضح المكتب، عبر منشور على منصة “إكس”، أن آلية المساعدات العابرة للحدود مكّنت الأمم المتحدة وشركاءها من إيصال الدعم الإنساني إلى ملايين السوريين، من خلال أكثر من 65 ألف شاحنة دخلت الأراضي السورية محمّلة بالمواد الغذائية والطبية والإغاثية، ضمن واحدة من أكثر العمليات الإنسانية تعقيدًا على مستوى العالم
وبيّن المكتب أن المرحلة المقبلة ستشهد توجهًا جديدًا في العمل الإنساني داخل سوريا، يقوم على تعزيز التعاون مع الشركاء المحليين والدوليين، وزيادة فعالية البرامج الإنسانية، مع التركيز على تحقيق أثر طويل الأمد وتحسين آليات المتابعة والمساءلة
وفي وقت سابق، أكد وكيل الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة للشؤون الإنسانية توم فليتشر أن الأوضاع الإنسانية في سوريا لا تزال تتطلب استجابة واسعة، مشيرًا إلى أن نحو 16 مليون شخص ما زالوا بحاجة إلى مساعدات إنسانية، رغم التحسن النسبي الذي شهدته بعض المناطق خلال الأشهر الماضية
وأضاف فليتشر أن الأمم المتحدة تعمل خلال المرحلة المقبلة على توسيع برامج إزالة الألغام ودعم التعافي المبكر، بالتوازي مع الانتقال التدريجي من الاستجابة الطارئة إلى خطط تنموية أكثر استدامة، تهدف إلى معالجة جذور الأزمة وتعزيز الاستقرار
كما أعلنت الأمم المتحدة مطلع العام الجاري إعادة تنظيم آلية التمويل الإنساني الخاصة بسوريا، عبر إنشاء صندوق موحّد مقره دمشق، في خطوة أنهت عمل صندوق “SCHF” العابر للحدود، الذي أُدير لسنوات من خارج البلاد
