قال وزير المهجّرين في حكومة تصريف الأعمال اللبنانية عصام شرف الدين بأن مطالب بلاده بخصوص النازحين هو تفكيك مخيماتهم وعودتهم إلى سوريا.
وأكد عصام شرف الدين وفق برنامج صوت كل لبنان على رفض قرار الاتحاد الأوروبي بإبقاء الدعم للنازحين على الأراضي اللبنانية معتبرًا أنه قرار جائر وتعسفي وله أغراض سياسية، وأن بلاده مطلبها لا يتلخص بتحسين وضع المخيمات بل تفكيكها والعودة الآمنة للسوريين إلى بلادهم.
واعتبر شرف الدين أن تصريحات البرلمان الأوروبي حول موضوع النازحين السوريين تناقض الواقع وأنها مرفوضة حيث قال “يتحدثون معنا بلغة المستعمِر ، يتبرعون بأراضي الغير وكأنّ لبنان مستعمرة بين أيديهم ، من أنتم لكي تتبرعوا بأراضي غيركم لتوطين مليون ومئتي ألف شخص؟ وإذا كنتم فعلا حريصين على حقوق الإنسان فخذوا النازحين إليكم لا سيما الأعداد التي تقدمت بطلب لذلك”.
وكشف شرف الدين بأنه تم تكليف وزير الخارجية لتحديد موعد لزيارة سوريا منذ شهر ونصف لتحديد آلية للعودة، مضيفًا بأن “التاريخ سيحاسبنا على التقصير، وإذا لا قدرة لشخص على القيام بمهام موكلة إليه ، فعليه التنّحي وأنا سأطرح هذا الأمر على طاولة الاجتماع المقبل للحكومة”.
الجدير ذكره بأن الاتحاد الأوروبي أصدر قرارًا اعتبر فيه أن عودة اللاجئين يجب أن تكون طوعية وكريمة وآمنة، وفقًا للمعايير الدولية، وحض على استمرار تقديم المساعدات الإنسانية للاجئين واللبنانيين مع ضوابط.
