قال مؤسس مجموعة “فاغنر” العسكرية الروسية الخاصة يفغيني بريغوغين بأن قواته التي تشدد قبضتها على مدينة باخموت الأوكرانية لا تحصل على احتياجاتها من الذخيرة، وإذا أُجبرت على التراجع ستنهار هذه الجبهة بأكملها.
وقال يفغيني بريغوغين وفق رويترز اليوم بأنه إذا انسحبت فاغنر من باخموت الآن ستنهار الجبهة بأكملها، و لن يكون الوضع طيبا لجميع التشكيلات العسكرية التي تحمي المصالح الروسية.
وأفاد بريغوغين بأن وحداته “طوقت عملياً باخموت” وأن معظم الذخيرة التي وعدت بها موسكو قواته لم يتم شحنها بعد.
كما قال بريغوغين بأنه “في الوقت الحالي نحاول معرفة السبب، هل هي مجرد بيروقراطية عادية أم خيانة؟.
و أوضح بريغوغين بأن قواته تشعر بقلق من أن موسكو تريد جعلهم كبش فداء محتمل إذا خسرت روسيا الحرب، مضيفا “إذا انسحبنا، فسندخل التاريخ إلى الأبد بوصفنا الأشخاص الذين اتخذوا الخطوة الرئيسية نحو خسارة الحرب”.
