كما قام الوفد بجولة في المرافق التشغيلية والأرصفة، واطلع على أعمال التحديث الجارية، قبل أن يؤكد السفير البلجيكي أهمية استمرار التواصل وتبادل الخبرات بما يخدم تطوير قطاع النقل البحري.
يُعد مرفأ اللاذقية أكبر المرافئ التجارية في سوريا، ويؤدي دوراً محورياً في استقبال البضائع وتلبية احتياجات السوق المحلية، وتشهد المرحلة الحالية تنفيذ خطط لتطوير مرافقه ورفع قدراته التشغيلية بهدف تحسين كفاءة الخدمات وتعزيز تنافسية قطاع النقل البحري.
