Hospitals and medical centers spread in all the world countries without any exception with their different potentials and abilities according to the medical and constructional advancement are considered to be one of the most important needed facilities; they are the artery that guarantee life moving on for their big role in servicing and saving people in general.
A way from all these worldly qualities followed in constructing advanced hospitals, we will talk about simple thing of the tragic reality befalling the Syrian hospitals inside opposition territories.
Everyone are aware of the fact that the international law includes many articles that are issued by the charter of the assemble of UN where they include neutralizing medical facilities and specially hospitals from military targeting them confirming the necessity to protect them for being the humanitarian aspect in case of wars.
Because Syrian regime and its allies have many times violated the international laws; they have targeted all the basic and understructure in liberated areas out of regime control. They consider hospitals and medical centers a main target for their warplanes with all weapons before world’s eyes for many centers linked to worldly and locally news agencies have recorded Russian military fighters waging raids directly at filed and basic hospitals in liberated areas even the coalition led by the united states of America was accused of such deeds.
So the great threat of hospitals being targeted is a reality to medical facilities in revolution circumstances with low potentials and abilities. This make many international organizations supporting the medical centers in countries of conflict to retreat from these territories; the thing led to find big challenge to the parties wishing to build field hospitals. So a new strategy is followed by finding field hospitals away from eyes inside small houses or even caves in circumstances away from the medical humanitarian service reality like in the rest countries.
The Syrian doctor Mehyar Shamaa said: ” I am sure the doctors who stayed inside Syria are real heroes for doctors who keep working in hospitals in liberated areas are completely aware of the risks threatening their lives. Most hospitals are ones in far places where ambulances face difficulty in arriving quickly considering bad roads linking hospitals to buildings in the city that are shelled leaving wounded of civilians, we always face from the problem of random gathering od civilians and vehicles before hospitals which increase the possibility of being targeted; building an advanced hospitals with garage is something difficult needing much time and material potentials. The problem of gatherings in front of hospitals always fail the plans aiming to keep eyes away from hospitals.. May Allah protect us all”.
May be supporting medical parties can bankroll medical projects build according to appropriate geometrical conditions for safety in areas near the borders away from clashes fields but regime and its allies targeting these attempts is possible, these steps need real international protecting and supervision by finding no-fly zone which America refuses which becomes a partner by not approving solutions to save souls as Syrians see.
