أعلنت وكالة غوث وتشغيل اللاجئين الفلسطينيين التابعة للأمم المتحدة (أونروا) اليوم الأحد أن 29 من موظفيها قتلوا في غزة منذ اندلاع الحرب بين حركة حماس وإسرائيل.
وكتبت الأونروا على موقع X (تويتر سابقًا): “نحن في حالة صدمة وحداد. لقد تأكد الآن أن 29 من زملائنا في غزة قتلوا منذ 7 تشرين الأول (أكتوبر)”، مما يرفع عدد القتلى الذي أعلن عنه يوم السبت إلى 17 موظفًا.
وقالت الوكالة عن آخر حصيلة لها إن “نصف هؤلاء الزملاء كانوا من معلمي الأونروا”.
وقد لجأ الآلاف من سكان غزة إلى منشآت الأونروا منذ أن شنت إسرائيل حملة قصف جوي ردًّا على هجمات حماس في إسرائيل والتي قتل فيها 1400 شخص.
وقتل أكثر من 4600 فلسطيني في تلك الغارات الجوية، بحسب وزارة الصحة في غزة، فيما قطعت إسرائيل أيضا إمدادات الوقود والمياه والغذاء والكهرباء عن القطاع الفقير.
وقالت الوكالة إن 12 نازحًا قتلوا وأصيب ما يقرب من 180 آخرين في مدارس الوكالة التابعة للأمم المتحدة، بينما تضررت نحو 38 منشأة تابعة للأونروا.
وفي بيان منفصل حذرت الأونروا من أن إمدادات الوقود في غزة ستنفد “خلال ثلاثة أيام”.
وقال المدير العام للأونروا فيليب لازاريني: “بدون وقود، لن تكون هناك مياه، ولن تكون هناك مستشفيات ومخابز عاملة. وبدون وقود، لن تصل المساعدات إلى العديد من المدنيين الذين هم في أمس الحاجة إليها”.
وأضاف: “بدون الوقود لن تكون هناك مساعدات إنسانية”.
وتمكنت أمس الأحد ست شاحنات من جمع الوقود من محطة عند معبر رفح، لكنها لا تقترب من تلبية الاحتياجات اليومية لسكان غزة البالغ عددهم 2.4 مليون نسمة.
