وجاء إطلاق المرحلة الجديدة خلال ورشة لإعداد المدربين في محافظة طرطوس، نُفذت بالشراكة مع منظمة اليونيسف ومؤسسة الأغا خان للخدمات الصحية، ليرتفع عدد المراكز المشاركة في المشروع إلى 130 مركزاً على مستوى البلاد.
ويركز المشروع على دعم النمو المتكامل للأطفال من مختلف الجوانب، من خلال تمكين الأهل من تطبيق أساليب الرعاية المستجيبة والتفاعل واللعب، إلى جانب إجراء تقييمات دورية للتطور النمائي والكشف المبكر عن أي اضطرابات وتأمين المتابعة اللازمة لها.
