وتحدثا عن اتفاقية 6 آذار/ مارس التي وقعها ممثلون عن السعودية وإيران في بيجين والقرار الذي تبع ذلك من تطبيع العلاقات بينهما. وأضافا أن الاتفاقية تحمل إمكانيات تحويل الشرق الأوسط عبر إعادة تشكيل قواه ورفض للانقسام السعودي- الإيراني الحالي واستبداله بشبكة معقدة من العلاقات ونسج المنطقة في الطموحات الصينية العالمية. وبالنسبة للصين فقد كان الإعلان عن الاتفاقية بمثابة
ولم تكن النتيجة هذه هي ما أرادته الولايات المتحدة، لأنها هي من شجع السعودية وإيران على التفاوض وتسوية الخلافات في 2021 ضمن جهودها لتخفيف التوترات بين المتنافسين في الخليج، ودعم مفاوضات الملف النووي ووقف الحرب في اليمن.
وعقدت طهران والرياض خمس جولات من المحادثات واستمرت الاتصالات بشكل غير رسمي. ثم طالب
ورأى السعوديون أن دخول الصين على خط المفاوضات هو الطريق الأكثر ضمانا لعدم خرق إيران أي اتفاقية في المستقبل، لأنها، أي طهران لن تخاطر بعلاقاتها القوية مع الصين وتخرق ما اتفق عليه.

وكان تدخل شي بالنسبة للبلدين محوريا، فكلاهما لديه علاقات تجارية وسياسية مع بيجين، ولهذا نال شي الثقة منهما. ولو تم تنفيذ الاتفاق بشكل كامل، فستكون إيران والسعودية على نفس الصف، فقد اتفقا على إعادة فتح البعثات الدبلوماسية التي أغلقت بعد هجوم الغوغاء في طهران على سفارة السعودية هناك عام 2016. ووافقت السعودية على التوقف عن دعم “إيران انترناشونال” القناة المعارضة التي حرضت على التظاهرات ضد النظام. وعبرا عن التزام باتفاق وقف إطلاق النار في نيسان/ إبريل 2022 بين الأطراف المتحاربة في اليمن وعبرا عن التزام بالعمل على تسوية تنهي الحرب في البلاد. وستتوقف إيران عن تزويد الحوثيين بالصواريخ والمسيرات التي استخدموها لضرب المنشآت النفطية والمدن الكبرى في السعودية. ويدعو الاتفاق لعلاقات اقتصادية ودبلوماسية بين دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي وإيران وقيام الأخيرة مع شركائها العرب بالعمل على إطار أمني، وأكثر من هذا فستواصل الصين مراقبة خطوات تطبيق الاتفاقية.
ويعتقد الباحثان أن الاتفاقية الإيرانية- السعودية ستنهي وبشكل محتمل التنافسات وتوسع العلاقات التجارية في منطقة الخليج، ولن تجد إيران نفسها في مواجهة تحالف بين العرب والإسرائيليين ضدها، والذي عولت عليه الولايات المتحدة لتحقيق الهدف الصعب وهو احتواء طهران.
وبدلا من ذلك ستعزز الاتفاقية العلاقات بين إيران وجوارها العربي وتضفي وبشكل تدريجي استقرارا على

ورحبت طهران بالدور الصيني في
وفي الوقت الذي قد تتسامح فيه طهران مع علاقات ثنائية بين دول الخليج وإسرائيل، إلا أنها لن تقبل بتحالف عسكري عربي- إسرائيلي موجه ضدها. لأنه سيكون خطيرا على إيران في ظل فشل المفاوضات النووية مع إدارة بايدن والاحتجاجات المحلية والحضور المتزايد لإسرائيل في أذربيجان والعراق وتفكير الحكومة المتطرفة في إسرائيل بضرب المنشآت النووية لمنع إيران من الحصول على السلاح النووي.
وبالنسبة للسعودية، فقبول اتفاق بقيادة بيجين يمثل تحولا استراتيجيا جريئا، والعلاقات السعودية مع أمريكا في أدنى مستوياتها، فالرياض ليست راضية عن سياسات أمريكا منذ غزو العراق في 2003 وتفكيك الدولة العراقية ولم ترض عن الاتفاقية النووية وغاضبة من تردد واشنطن بدعم مصالحها ضد إيران في كل من سوريا واليمن،
