ستحصل الجامعة الملكية المغربية لكرة القدم على 31.5 مليون دولار من الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم (فيفا) بعد بلوغ المنتخب المغربي الدور ربع النهائي في كأس العالم 2026.
وتشمل المكافأة 19 مليون دولار نظير الوصول إلى دور الثمانية، و10 ملايين دولار مقابل التأهل إلى البطولة، إضافة إلى 2.5 مليون دولار منحةً للإعداد للمونديال.
وتتجاوز هذه العوائد مبلغ 25 مليون دولار الذي حصل عليه المغرب بعد احتلاله المركز الرابع في مونديال قطر 2022، كما ترتفع إلى أكثر من 41 مليون دولار عند إضافة مكافأة 10 ملايين دولار التي نالها المنتخب بعد تتويجه بكأس الأمم الإفريقية.
وستُوجَّه هذه الإيرادات إلى تطوير كرة القدم في المملكة.
