اعتبرت اللجنة العليا للانتخابات بأن مليونا و36 ألفا و565 صوتا باطلا في الانتخابات الرئاسية التركية الأخيرة جراء الأخطاء والمخالفات التي وقع فيها ناخبون أتراك.
وبحسب وسائل إعلام تركية اليوم فإن اللجنة العليا للانتخابات اتخذت هذا الإجراء نتيجة أخطاء ومخالفات ارتكبها ناخبون أبرزها ترك ورقة الاقتراع فارغة بدون ختم الهيئة العليا للانتخابات (نعم) أو (ترجيح).
وأضافت المصادر بأن الأصوات ألغيت لأن الختم كان على أكثر من حزب أو أكثر من تحالف أو تمزق الورقة الانتخابية بشكل جزئي أو كامل، أو استخدام بصمة اليد بدلا من الختم المعد مسبقا أو أي كتابة أو رسم على الورقة.
وأشارت المصادر إلى أنه بعد فتح صناديق الاقتراع في البلاد وخارجها بنسبة 100%، فإن مليون و 20 ألفا و 963 صوتا داخل البلاد، و 15 ألفا و 602 صوتا خارج البلاد ألغيت وأبطلت نتيجة أخطاء ومخالفات ارتكبها المصوتون.
فيما أعلنت هيئة الانتخابات التركية إجراء جولة ثانية من الانتخابات الرئاسية يوم 28 مايو/أيار الجاري بين الرئيس التركي رجب طيب أردوغان ومنافسه الرئيسي كمال كليجدار أوغلو.
