بحث وزير الصحة الدكتور مصعب العلي مع محافظ إدلب محمد عبد الرحمن، في مبنى الوزارة بدمشق، سبل النهوض بالقطاع الصحي في المحافظة وتحسين مستوى الخدمات الطبية العلاجية، إلى جانب تطوير الكوادر ورفع كفاءتها، وإنشاء نظام معلومات صحي موحد يواكب المعايير العالمية
وتناول الاجتماع واقع القطاع الصحي في إدلب بعد توقف دعم أكثر من 18 مشفى كانت مفعّلة سابقًا، حيث جرت مناقشة الحلول المقترحة لتأمين استمرارية العمل فيها، وتوسيع نطاق الرعاية الصحية بما يواكب احتياجات السكان، ولا سيما مع تزايد أعداد العائدين من مخيمات النزوح، ما يتطلب ترميم مراكز صحية وبناء أخرى جديدة
وقدم مدير صحة إدلب الدكتور سامر عرابي عرضاً مفصلًا للواقع الطبي، أوضح فيه أن المحافظة تضم 61 مشفى، جزء منها خارج الخدمة، إضافة إلى 141 مركزًا صحيًا، يعمل بعضها بدعم من منظمات إنسانية والبعض الآخر بشكل طوعي، فيما توجد خمسة مراكز جديدة جاهزة للافتتاح. كما أشار إلى أن السعة السريرية تبلغ نحو 2489 سريراً للأجنحة والإسعاف، و412 سريرًا للعناية المشددة، و280 حاضنة للأطفال، إلى جانب مراكز تخصصية كالعلاج الفيزيائي وبنوك الدم والتلاسيميا
وأكد الوزير العلي أن وزارة الصحة تضع نصب أعينها تأمين الخدمات وفق أسس فنية وتقنية تراعي الأولويات والاحتياجات، مشيرًا إلى تخصيص مشافي إدلب بأجهزة نوعية بينها جهاز رنين مغناطيسي، وجهاز طبقي محوري، وإيكو قلبية، وتنظير للحالب
من جانبه، شدد المحافظ عبد الرحمن على حجم الأضرار التي لحقت بالقطاع الصحي جراء الحرب، والنقص الكبير في الأجهزة الحيوية وأجهزة غسيل الكلية، لافتًا إلى ضرورة وضع خطط مدروسة تأخذ بالاعتبار التوزع الجغرافي للسكان والمشافي، ودعم المؤسسات الطبية التي توقف عنها التمويل برواتب وكوادر وتجهيزات أساسية
وحضر الاجتماع معاون وزير الصحة الدكتور حسين الخطيب، ومدير التخطيط والتعاون الدولي الدكتور زهير القراط، وعدد من المعنيين في الوزارة. ويأتي اللقاء ضمن خطة عمل شاملة لإعادة تأهيل القطاع الصحي في إدلب والمناطق المتضررة، عبر تزويد المشافي بالتجهيزات، وتدريب الكوادر، وتعزيز التنسيق من خلال نظام معلوماتي موحد
