يعاني غالبية سكان ريف الرقة الشرقي من سوء الطرق العامة المؤدية للمدينة والفرعية الواقعة ضمن البلدات والقرى بالإضافة للطرقات الزراعية، وسط مطالبات متكررة بتعبيد الطرقات دون استجابة من حكومة النظام.
وبحسب موقع أثر برس اليوم فإن الأهالي في ريف الرقة الشرقي طالبوا مرات عديدة بتعبيد الطرقات منها زراعية وأخرى خدمية، حيث تعد طرقاً رئيسية وتخدم السكان بشكل عام، خاصة بوجود الأتربة المنبعثة من الطرق غير المعبدة التي تشكل ضررا لمن يعانون من الحساسية والربو.
وأكد رئيس لجنة الخدمات في بلدية الكرامة خليل الضاهر بأن لجنة الخدمات في بلدة الكرامة رفعت عدة مخططات لتزفيت الطرقات، وتواصلوا أكثر من مرة مع الجهات المعنية دون استجابة ووعود بتعبيد الطرقات دون العمل على تطبيقها.
الجدير بالذكر بأن الخطة التي يعملون على استكمالها بهدف تعبيد الطرقات هي خطة 2020، والتي لم يُنفذ منها سوى 800 متر داخل بلدة الكرامة.
