تحت عنوان “في مخيمات سوريا أطفال تنظيم (الدولة) الضعاف تجاهلهم العالم” كتب مارتن شولوف مراسل الصحيفة في الشرق الأوسط محذراً من أن هناك ما يقدر عددهم بـ 3.000 طفل من أبناء الجهاديين الأجانب في وضع خطر. وقال إن بريطانيا تقول إن سوريا منطقة خطرة لا يمكن لها أن ترسل إليها دبلوماسيها مع أن المسؤولين البريطانيين موجودون في المنطقة منذ عامين على الأقل. فقد أقام عملاء المخابرات الخارجية البريطانية المعروفة بـ (أم آي 6) والقوات الخاصة “إس إي إس” والقادة العسكريون علاقات قوية مع مقاتلي وحدات حماية الشعب الكردية في شمال شرقي سوريا والتي تمتلئ فيها المخيمات بالهاربين من مناطق تنظيم “الدولة”.
وعلى خلاف المناطق الأخرى في سوريا التي تشهد حروباً ويسمع فيها لعلعة الرصاص فشمال شرقي سوريا يعتبر آمناً ويعمل فيه مئات الصحافيين وعمال الإغاثة وهو المكان الذي يمكن للعمل فيه أن ينجو حالة توفرت إرادة لهذا. ويقول شولوف إن الشوارع المليئة بالحفر والبيروقراطية القاتلة تعد المعوق الوحيد لدخول المخيمين – وهما معسكرا الإعتقال لنساء ورجال وأطفال تنظيم “الدولة”. وتم وضع الرجال في معسكر “الروج” قرب الحدود الشمالية مع العراق، أما النساء فقد نقلن إلى معسكر “الهول” قرب مدينة الحسكة. ويزدحم المخيمان بالأعداد المتدفقة، وأكثر من المتوقع، من بلدة الباغوز التي تعد آخر معقل لتنظيم “الدولة” أو ما يطلق عليها “الخلافة”.
وتم نقل حوالي 25.000 لكل مخيم في الأسابيع الثلاثة الأخيرة، ومن بينهم مئات الأطفال، عدد كبير منهم ولد حديثاً، وهناك مئات النساء اللاتي ينتظرون الإنجاب. ويعلق الكاتب إن “الصغار والكبار والعجزة يواجهون الخطر داخل المخيمين الغارقين بمياه المطر منذ كانون الثاني (يناير). ويواجه الأطفال الرضع بالتحديد المخاطر نظرا لعدم وجود ما يحميهم من الشتاء القارس حيث تنخفض درجات الحرارة عادة إلى ما تحت الصفر، ولا يتوفر من مواد الدفء إلا النار “العارية”، فالخيم المعزولة المهيأة لظروف الشتاء غير موجودة ولا أنظمة التدفئة.
وانتقلت شاميما بيغوم بعد فترة قصيرة من ولادة ابنها جراح من مخيم الهول إلى الروج حيث مات يوم الخميس. ودفن إلى جانبه طفلان ماتا حرقاً. وبحسب اللجنة الدولية للصليب الأحمر فقد مات حوالي 100 طفل في الطريق إلى مخيم الهول أو في داخله. ومات معظمهم بسبب سوء التغذية أو البرد. ويعلق شولوف إن الأطفال في المخيمين يعدون الأكثر عرضة للخطر في العالم. ومما زاد في مأساتهم أن الحكومات التي من المفترض أن تقدم العناية لهم لم تظهر أي اهتمام بهم ولا بآبائهم.
لم تظهر أي حكومة باستثناء فرنسا التي عبرت عن اهتمام بإعادة الأطفال الذين ولدوا لأبوين فرنسيين، اهتماماً بمصير أطفال تنظيم “الدولة”. وقالت كندا إن أي شخص يستطيع الوصول إلى قنصليتها يمكن استقباله.
فبيغوم التي هربت من بريطانيا وانضمت للتنظيم الجهادي جردت من جنسيتها بقرار من وزير الداخلية، وهو تحرك عرض طفلها الرضيع للخطر وحلل الحكومة من أية مسؤولية قانونية، مع أن المسؤولية الأخلاقية هي شأن آخر. ولم تظهر أي حكومة باستثناء فرنسا التي عبرت عن اهتمام بإعادة الأطفال الذين ولدوا لأبوين فرنسيين، اهتماماً بمصير أطفال تنظيم “الدولة”. وقالت كندا إن أي شخص يستطيع الوصول إلى قنصليتها يمكن استقباله. وهو منظور مستحيل بالنسبة للنساء المحتجزات في المخيمات. ويحتجن للفرار أولاً ثم الوصول إلى الحدود التركية أو العبور للأردن والعراق ولبنان.
وتقدر منظمات الإغاثة عدد الأطفال المولدين لمقاتلين أجانب حوالي 3000 طفل. ويجب توفير الحماية لهم ولا يواجهون أعباء التحقيق والسجن مثل والديهم حالة عادوا إلى بلادهم. ومات رضيع شاميما ببطء حيث لم تتحمل رئتاه البرد. والخميس ازرق جسده ونقل إلى العيادة الطبية ثم المستشفى ثم توقف عن التنفس. وواجه المصير نفسه أخواه اللذان ماتا بسبب الجوع. وتخشى الأمهات الأخريات مصيرًا لأبنائهن مثل مصير رضيع بيغوم. وقالت ام كندية “ما يحدث لي الآن ليس مهماً، ولكن الأطفال أبرياء، حاولوا العثور على طريقة لهم لكي يعيشوا”.
