The truce to the Syrian people is still an announcement broadcasted on social media, where they have not
witnessed in it but the constant breaches specially speaking only after two hours of declaring it; The fighting jets of Russia; regime strongest ally, carried out raids again in the Syrian cities and towns under the pretext of wiping out the opposition in these locations although Russia is one of the sides which brokered the cease fire. The question arises clearly to everyone, has the accord of country-wide cease fire in Syria turned to be a truce by one side? Certainly, the military escalation for the fifteenth day consecutively is considered a sign that regime and the greedy allies regarding the Syrian land, pursue the strategy to advance and control the field whether in the area of Wadi Barada or the northern Syria. Actually who commit to the truce, which come into effect on Friday, are the opposition sides who see that they become forced to face difficult and tough options after the talk considering Astana Negotiations. However, the nationwide accord of cease fire will be canceled in case regime forces and pro militias cause any changes on the ground. The operations of getting out the bodies and pulling out victims from under the rubble are still on before utter silence of the national community; Syria’s future and peace talks are just a kind of publicity and procedures which are far from being implemented to a people who has offered the precious, with the repeated statements made by Assad allies including the Iranian side which refuses any military or humanitarian negotiations since this is incompatible with the strategy of its foreign policy. The nationwide truce in Syria witnesses breaches of different kind after the advisor of Supreme Leader on international affairs said:” the upcoming Astana meeting on Syrian situation to be attended by Iranian, Russian and Turkish presidents will include negotiations between Syrian government and those rebels who are willing to lay down their weapons and stop terrorist acts and accept to be a part of the great Syrian nation”. “The rebels attending the Astana meeting in Kazakhstan mid-January are those who ‘respect Syria’s territorial integrity and legitimate sovereignty’, he added. Velayati confirmed that ISIL and al-Nusra are terrorist groups and will have no part in the talks, and that Hezbollah will not leave from Syria. These statements signify the failure of any attempt to put an end to bloodshed in Syria. The core question then arises automatically and clearly, Are what happened in the Moscow’s statement and what is taking place today in the accord of cease fire, real or another play through which the Russian officials aim to pull back from a war that has exhausted them economically, legally and medially. Between the Iranian dogmatic project which was planned 30 years ago to tighten racism, at the point regime becomes unable to face rebels so Iran has been forced to send its militias to fight in Syria, and the Russian force playing major role in dividing opposition; the Syrians find themselves perplexed regarding the mysterious future that is torn between the media delusions and the reality.
