The conflict in Syria becomes a humanitarian disaster particularly speaking when its impacts affect children who are really not aware of war danger or how it may cause harm to their bodies and health.
It has been up to five years of the war waged by Assad’s regime and his allies during which Syrians have gone through different kinds of pains and suffering losing so many beloved relatives and sons in addition to the fact that it has displaced millions outside their homeland Syria.
But the question today is for those peaceful citizens who are holding on to their country despite life bitterness.. “Can they protect their children from the Russian cluster bombs thrown as kids toys that claim their souls?
“Om-Abdel Rahman” who is from Idlib countryside and aged 33 years, talked about her great sadness after the death of her youngest child while playing with a cluster bomb made in the shape of a toy in her house yard: “I am not trying to show myself as a human being who has never done anything wrong for this is impossible.. but being busy with a harsh living which is increasing.. I was not watching my child where later I heard an explosion rocking my heart and soul before my limbs.. it was a cluster missiles which torn my child’s body into carnage.. I pray Allah to punish who is without mercy”.
A lot of small ammunition do not blew up immediately so that a large amount of this ammunition remain on the ground to be just like blasts a danger that threaten citizens’ life and especially children who are totally not aware of what it really is or its danger. For being a great ally of a regime that has lost its legitimacy, Russia can use varied kinds of missiles as if they were specially made for killing a people known for consecrating life and peace.
Abo-Hilal from Darkoosh city narrated that while he was checking on his agricultural land he could see from a far distance a toy of vivid colors on my a tree.. it actually caught my eyes..Ahhhh what a trick ..it was a bomb in a the shape of kids toys which was so attractive.. I thanked Allah for not bringing my children with me”.
It is a Russian invention to kill without any mercy more innocent sons in a deceptive ways . It aims to claim more souls and to cause destruction in favor for its ally Bashar Assad’s regime who has sold his people and is seeking to kill armed less civilians encouraged by the international silence.
Abo-Hilal proceeded with pain that could be sensed in his words: “I will tell everyone I know or any one I will see about this in order to be aware of the new danger of theses bombs that attracts children .. it is a harsh life we are living in Syria but with lacking humanity it is hard to go on living”.
Despite the campaigns to pay attention to the danger of these bombs carried out by civil defense centers and citizens in liberated areas, potentials are not enough due to missing supplies and equipment to detect these bombs that spread in wide areas in agricultural lands.
The question remains for who invent death arts and throw them on innocent people.. what if one of these toys reached your beloved’s hands?!
