Nepotism Makes Facilities (Place) Gathering Relatives

In the current political conditions taking place in Syria, the community has adopted to the forced reality; so civil facilities in most aspects of life considering civil matters such as education and many other departments has emerged. Who does not want to carry the weapon defending the country; they work on serving the country from another aspect.
Eman who has earned her certificate from Aleppo University, Medicine College, medical laboratory department, applied to work in an educational facility. She applied her data about her experience, certification and abilities. Later she had an interview with the manager.
She said:” the manager asked me:
– ‘what is my goal of applying to the job?
– I want to benefit the students, I have experience from which they can get benefit, and I want to offer them something good…’
After few minutes the interview was over where at the end of it he said to me:’ we do not have unoccupied place for you to work.. but I have relations with who can find you a job as I recommended you,not here, maybe in another facility…thank you’
A while later, I was surprised to know that the manager employed a medical institution graduate for the job I had applied for; where she was employed for belonging to ( the ruling family) of the facility”.
This graduate is a fresh one and of lower GPA in comparison with the previous one, however, with better qualities. She was brought from a far place at the expense of the facility where she was paid the costs of moving, hiring a house and a living fees.
Eman is one out of thousands others who have gone through the same thing; efficient graduate are helpless in facing the domineering of the (ruling family) in the facilities which are built on nepotism. The current reality shows today that most of our facilities turn to be controlled and of defined persons; in one of these facilities the rate of employed nepotism is roughly 90 percent so that family atmosphere master these institutions.
Osama is PhD and old lecturer in Aleppo University; he is known for being efficient and of special abilities as well as experience and knowledge. He was employed for some time in the field of medical education in an educating medical facility. He taught excellent students and worked hard on improving their abilities. Besides he helped in forming and providing the curriculum. Yet he was fired under a fake pretext after finding an alternative who has relations with the manager despite he is of lower GPA and experience. Osama in an interview with Syrian Press Center, said:” Some problems occurred between us for discussion between us for he was hiring and employing inefficient people rather than the people of experience. He did not like me to argue with him and that is why he fired me”.
For forty years we are used to be controlled and ruled by the ruling family “Assad family” where the government facilities and institutions are occupied by the majority of this family. We are still corrupted with nepotism which Assad has been kneeing on growing it in us. Different names and people, yet the ruling and methods of ruling have not changed considering work and its laws.
