After both Arabic and worldly newspapers, and media including social media have been busy with the battle of breaking the siege on Aleppo city in sympathy with the citizens of Aleppo eastern parts in an attempt to bring to the spotlight their suffering in the siege; where many hashtags have been launched on Tweeter such as #Aleppo_Victory and #Save_Aleppo. However, recently ,media forget about Aleppo and its citizens finding something way more interesting which is the American candidate Trump’s presidential win. Trump’s win becoming USA president has busied the old and the young distracting the whole world from the massacres committed by regime forces on daily basis where Aleppo is at the top of the list considering the big number of massacres.
Probably media generally speaking follow media hype and the so common among the mass leaving aside what really need to be covered allowing the whole world to know what is going on. Who is following what is taking place in Aleppo after regime forces have been managed to regain control over 1070 Block and Al-Hekmah School, and attempting to control the Military Academy to tighten more the noose on the civilians who are a life that is not like the ordinary life for they are completely encircled from all the sides in a tragic circumstances due to lack of food, medications and the basic supplies.
UN has announced on last Thursday that its groups in Aleppo distributed the last foodstuff baskets among the citizens where the last batch had arrived last July so after then these groups could not enter any kind of aids to the eastern besieged neighborhoods for not getting the green light from Assad regime; this foreshadows occurrence of a terrifying humanitarian crisis like what took place in Madaya town and even worse since nearly quarter million persons are living in these neighborhoods.
Considering that, Ahmad Salem, who is a member in Civil Defense in Aleppo city:” The city is in a miserable state before which the national community stands in utter silence turning a blind eye to our appealing.. The whole world is defeatist celebrating the presidential win of the person who is described by most who know him with being crazy, at the time our children are dying of hunger and oppression by cruel warplanes that do not leave the sky whether it is day or night. Regime continue advancing where we live here in fear of the coming days”.
It is hard to bear in mind what is going on in Aleppo, the remaining foodstuff- including rice, lentil and groats- for those trapped in eastern Aleppo sufficed for only few days.
“Is it possible UN has not understanding formula with this regime in order to be able to enter milk for infants at least? This reveals that regime is the controller and that UN awaits its orders”, these are Abo-Abdu’s words who is from Al-Shaar neighborhood after lost hopes in UN promises of finding soon solution to them.
