In a speech before his regime’s “People’s Assembly” on Tuesday after a long absence from the media, Bashar Assad said that Geneva Communique’s articles contradict each other.
Assad said: “How can Geneva communique’s articles establish the sovereignty of Syria, while they have the transitional ruling body article?”
It seems that Bashar Assad has forgotten that the Syrian sky is full of jets from all over the world which daily violate the sanctity of the Syrian airspace. These Russian and U.S.-led coalition air strikes will be the best lesson to be taught about the violations of states’ sanctity in the era of Assad regime.
The head of the regime also spoke about love and the sincerity to the homeland, while the homeland is violated. What concerns Assad most is staying in office.
In the speech, Assad criticized the US and attacked its administration with severe tone and at the same time, he complained about its refusal to participate in his war against Syrians.
Also, Assad accused some parties of conspiring and collaborating with foreign states against the peace and the security of their country, while his staying in power depends on the foreign states’ support.
Assad said that his opponents want to divide Syria, while Russia, Assad’s staunch ally, was the first among all to speak about the Useful Syria.
The reason which prevented Assad from holding dialogue sessions with any party of the political opponents was that the latter were either facilitators or mediators. The opponents are also amateurs in policy and nothing was given to them except timetables for food and waking up.
