It is a new chapter of the daily pain, suffering, death and devastations that the civilians in Aleppo have being facing and which is carried out by regime forces, warplanes and launchers in addition to the ones of Russian air force and the raciest militias from Iran, Iraq and Lebanon, in the besieged districts in Aleppo city; The intensive air strikes and the bombardment with artillery and launchers in the crowded residential neighborhoods have not stopped at all leaving causalities among innocent civilians who are the victims of war which has lasted long with agglomerations interests of covetous allies.
In confrontation with varied kinds of old and new weapons, and even poisonous gases, children and women have to face death concurrently with barrel bombs filled with chlorine gas dropped by regime helicopters on al-Kalasa neighborhood causing suffocation cases among the weakest element in war who are the citizens. Due to the weak potentials, wounded are transferred to what is like field clinics despite missing medical supplies as all hospitals in besieged districts were destroyed in direct targeting by who sentenced civilians in eastern Aleppo to death considering barbaric regime and Russian ally who is the biggest partner in brutality.
No matter how the battles on ground get intensified, concentration has to be on protecting civilians and opening safe passages guaranteeing safety and intactness for those are crossing through them.
All the parties have to agree on halting the offensive and killing in order to reach the civilians who have found themselves trapped in a crisis in which any spark of hope in who are still alive, has faded away. The cries of women, children and ill people have gotten loud reaching heaven, in addition to cries of who were not meant to make it; dying in darkness in their mothers’ wombs before seeing light to get back to unlimited darkness in the grave.
Certainly, the international community is demanded- which is its duty- to protect those civilians and delivering humanitarian aids to who become going through dire conditions of war.
Despite the dire circumstances taking place in Aleppo, in the conference of Syria Friends held in Paris, call for political solution for the conflict in Syria was again issued; the French foreign minister “Jan Mark Ayrault” said after the meeting “The situation in Aleppo is extremely difficult it is necessary to put an end to the fight and bombardment, he added: “We need to tie down the conditions for a genuine political transition, and negotiations must resume on a clear basis within the framework of the UN resolution 2254.”
What a failure!! The meeting of Syria Friends was ended in Paris on Saturday 10th/ December with clearing visions although the conference issued all the varied current developments in Syria and the escalation of military operations by regime and the Russian ally which affected directly on hundreds thousands of the citizens in eastern Aleppo. The attendants came to agree on the necessity to work on presuming Geneva talks as soon as possible.
Like in all the previous meetings, it was emphasized on the importance to reach a political solution and convince the Syrian regime for being staking on the military solution even if the price is all the Syrian people.
The question here is how will the international do?
