Documentation Office in Syrian Press Center (SPC), has documented in last October 50 massacres in the areas held by opposition factions, most of them took place in the governorates of Deir Azzor, Raqqa and Damascus countryside with a total death toll of 519 martyrs in the wake of intense bombardment by regime forces, the Russian air force and the air force of US-led coalition, in most the Syrian provinces.
*- The massacres according to perpetrator are as follows:
– The Russian air force committed 24 massacres through launching intense raids on the governorates of Deir Ezzor and Hama, with a death toll of 242 martyrs.
– The military fighters of US-led coalition committed 12 massacres, with a death toll of 163 martyrs.
– Regime forces through military operations, artillery offensive, and airstrikes, committed 13 massacre, with a death toll of 99 martyrs.
– ISIS fighters committed 1 massacre, with a death toll of 15 martyrs.
*- The massacres according to provinces are as follows:
• 26 massacres were committed in the province of Deir Ezzor, including:
– 20 massacres were committed by the Russian air force with a death toll of 217 martyrs.
– 5 massacres were committed by regime forces with a death toll of 48 martyrs.
– 1 massacre was committed by ISIS fighters with a death toll of 15 martyrs.
• 11 massacres were committed in the province of Raqqa by the military fighters of US-led coalition with a death toll of 157 martyrs.
• 6 massacres were committed in the province of Damascus countryside by regime forces and its troops, with a death toll of 35 martyrs.
• 4 massacres were committed in the province of Idlib with a death toll of 26 martyrs, including:
– 2 massacres were committed by the Russian air force, with a death toll of 10 martyrs.
– 2 massacres were committed by regime forces, with a death toll of 16 martyrs.
• 2 massacres were committed in the province of Hama with a death toll of 13 martyrs.
• 1 massacre was committed in the province of Hasaka with a death toll of 6 martyrs.
*- It is worthy to mention that the massacres since the onset of 2017 until the moment of editing the report reached 525 ones with a total death toll of 5409 martyrs, they include:
– 180 massacres were committed by the military fighters of US-led coalition.
– 153 massacres were committed by the Russian air force, according to a statistic by Documentation Office in Syrian Press Center.
