According to the Syrian Human Rights Network, the Syrian regime has carried out 207 chemical weapons attacks on various areas in Syria. The first of which was according to the network archives on December 23 in al-Bayadah neighborhood in Homs, continuing this approach amid international silence on its crime that is War crimes against humanity, until world woke up on the upon chemical massacre in the countryside of Damascus, on this day in 2013, which it victims was more than 1200 people, mostly women and children, the regime has launched 33 attacks between the first attack in Al-Bayadah district and the attack of the gouta, without any punishments.
The regime forces certified the Treaty on the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons on September 14, 2013, after the attack on the ghotta. However, the regime’s forces continued their approach without regard to the treaty, targeting various areas in Syria with internationally banned chemical weapons. its main attacks was in Idlib khanshaikhon, which resulted in the deaths of more than 100 civilians, mostly women and children, on April 4 this year.
It is worth mentioning that the date of the twenty-first day of August, marks the fourth anniversary of the chemical massacre in the ghouta in the countryside of Damascus.
