So many bet on Idlib city free governance failure after being liberated from regime forces by Alfateh Army particularly speaking about the medical aspect in the city where some people believed that after regime departure chaos would hit the city spreading corruption due to the absence of government. Although the city governance faced in the beginning some problems in its formations, it is recently witnessing intensive efforts which aims to organize the work in its all facilities and service institutions completely.
Health Institution in Idlib governance has issued after a tour carried out by medicine censorship in the governance cities and towns in order to check on the state of pharmacies and medicine storehouse in them, a law to close all the infringing ones; many of them were opened by many people who are unworthy in this career and do not have any academical certification of pharmacy authorize them to work according to it, but they work with the pretext of experience and practicing.
An official in the Health Institution elucidated to us in a meeting with him some aspects of the article:” the article has been issued to shut these pharmacies due to so many grouching which reached to us by citizens through their dealing with some pharmacies which give alternative medicine or wrong kinds of medicine that caused later sometimes to aggravating the patient’s state, an example for this is giving antiseptic medicine for oral use for an infant at the time this medicine should be given locally”.
“We are working right now on applying the law of closing infringing pharmacies successively in each area for a month and a half as maxim period in cooperation with Idlib free governance and operational power in the city since they are the ruling form and have permissions in that action because this service civilians in the first place and for not to fall in problems of fatal consequences in the future. The owner of any infringing pharmacy of the law and not committed to applying it with full responsibility and unlaw”, the official proceeded.
Earlier the censorship of medicine has issued warnings for the infringing pharmacies, however, changing the management of the province and the unstable circumstances in it contributed in not responding to these warnings. In the next phase there will be cooperation with the inspection checkpoints in all the cities and towns in the province to not let any medicine to enter without authorizations but only to the licensed storehouses exclusively where medicine will enter from three sides: Bab-alhawa passage, Almansora factoties and regime passages.
There is a phase after the closing which includes unifying the price in all pharmacies and seizing smuggled medications besides forbidding dealing with unauthorized medical standards.
The law made infringing upset specially those who hired the certification of a pharmacist and working in this career under experience with the pretext they are winning bread, at the time civilians are happy about it hoping safety from those ignorant people considering pharmacy.
