زارت وزيرة الخارجية الفيدرالية أنالينا بيربوك اليوم الثلاثاء 9 كانون الثاني يناير الحدود مع قطاع غزة بعد لقائها نظيرها المصري سامح شكري في القاهرة ، وعند معبر رفح الحدودي بين جنوب قطاع غزة ومصر، قالت الوزيرة قبل وصولها إنها تريد لفت الانتباه إلى معاناة المدنيين في قطاع غزة. ودعت بيربوك إلى فتح معابر حدودية إضافية ووقف إطلاق نار إنساني جديد حتى يتمكن من إيصال إمدادات الإغاثة إلى قطاع غزة.
وفي رفح، ترغب وزيرة الخارجية في زيارة المعبر الحدودي والتحدث مع ممثلي منظمتي الأمم المتحدة الأونروا ومكتب تنسيق الشؤون الإنسانية العاملة في قطاع غزة. ثم زيارة مستشفى في العريش بمصر، حيث يتم علاج الجرحى من قطاع غزة.
وذكرت صحيفة Stern الألمانية قول بيربوك قبل مغادرتها إلى رفح في القاهرة:”إنه في ضوء المجاعة الوشيكة في قطاع غزة، فإن “سرعة عمليات التسليم أصبحت الآن حاسمة”. وانتقدت بيربوك المعالجة السابقة للمساعدات، والتي تأتي بشكل رئيسي عبر معبر رفح، باعتبارها غير فعالة للغاية. ويجب التأكد من أن هذه المساعدة لن تنتهي إلى طريق بيروقراطي مسدود. وقالت بيربوك : “في الوقت الحالي، لا يوجد ما يكفي مما يلقى صدى لدى الناس”.
وأضافت الصحيفة أن وزيرة الخارجية توجهت إلى العريش قادمة من القاهرة على متن طائرة إيرباص عسكرية تابعة لسلاح الجو الألماني محملة بما يقرب من عشرة أطنان من المساعدات من ألمانيا للفلسطينين في غزة. وهي عبارة عن حصائر نوم وبطانيات وأكياس نوم للأطفال وأسرة مخيمات لسكان قطاع غزة الذين اضطروا إلى مغادرة منازلهم وشققهم والعيش في مساكن مؤقتة.
