وتركز الاجتماع على المراجعة النهائية لكافة الملاحظات والمقترحات الفنية والقانونية الواردة من الوزارات والجهات العامة، بهدف توحيدها في نص تشريعي متكامل يواكب متطلبات المرحلة، ويضمن توافق القانون الجديد مع فلسفة الإصلاح الإداري التي تتبناها الحكومة.
وبحسب وزارة التنمية الإدارية، فإن المشروع الجديد يرتكز على رؤية عصرية للوظيفة العامة، تقوم على مبادئ الجدارة والكفاءة والشفافية، مع ربط الأداء الوظيفي بالمسار المهني، بما يساهم في رفع سوية الجهاز الحكومي وتطوير جودة الخدمات المقدمة للمواطنين.
