وأوضح الغفير، خلال جولة له على أجنحة المعرض، أن الهيئة تعمل على دعم المصدرين وتقديم التسهيلات التي تسهم في رفع تنافسية المنتجات الوطنية، مشيرًا إلى وجود خطة متكاملة لتحسين الجودة والترويج الفعّال للمنتجات السورية في الأسواق الإقليمية والعالمية
وبيّن أن الاهتمام يتركز على قطاعات الصناعات الغذائية والهندسية والنسيجية، باعتبارها من المجالات الواعدة والقادرة على دفع عجلة النمو الاقتصادي، مؤكدًا أن دعم هذه القطاعات يعد أولوية لضمان استمرارية تطوير الصادرات
وتأسست هيئة دعم وتنمية الإنتاج المحلي والصادرات بموجب القانون رقم 3 لعام 2016، بهدف تحقيق التكامل بين القطاعين الإنتاجي والتصديري، من خلال برامج تقلل تكاليف الإنتاج وتزيد القدرة التنافسية للمنتج السوري في الخارج
ويستمر المعرض حتى الخامس من أيلول، وسط إقبال واسع من الزوار، حيث خصصت اللجنة المنظمة رحلات مجانية للنقل بين دمشق ومدينة المعارض عبر نقطتين رئيسيتين هما البرامكة قرب وزارة الزراعة، وساحة باب توما
