استأنفت محطة الزارة الحرارية في ريف حماة الجنوبي تشغيلها بكامل طاقتها الإنتاجية، عقب استكمال أعمال إعادة تأهيل المجموعة البخارية الثانية وإدخالها مجددًا في الخدمة، لترتفع القدرة الإجمالية للمحطة إلى نحو 605 ميغاواط
وبيّن مراسل الإخبارية أن المحطة تُعد من الأعمدة الأساسية لقطاع الكهرباء في البلاد، إذ تؤمّن قرابة ربع الإنتاج الكهربائي، وتضم ثلاث مجموعات بخارية تشكّل ركيزة محورية في دعم استقرار الشبكة الكهربائية
وأوضح أن أعمال الصيانة والتأهيل جاءت في سياق جهود حكومية متواصلة لتعزيز الجاهزية الفنية ورفع كفاءة التشغيل، بما يسهم في تحسين واقع التغذية الكهربائية خلال الفترة الحالية
وكان وزير الطاقة محمد البشير قد أعلن في 15 كانون الأول عن إنجاز إعادة تأهيل المجموعة الثانية في محطة الزارة، مؤكدًا عبر حسابه على منصة “X” أن المحطة باتت تعمل بجميع مجموعاتها، معتبرًا أن هذا التطور يعكس جدية العمل والإرادة في مرحلة التعافي وإعادة البناء
