شهدت بلدة حزيمة في ريف الرقة الشمالي خلال الساعات الماضية يوم الثلاثاء 24 آذار ارتفاعًا ملحوظًا في منسوب مياه نهر البليخ، ما أدى إلى غمر مساحات واسعة من الأراضي الزراعية المحيطة، وسط مخاوف من امتداد المياه نحو المناطق السكنية
وتعمل فرق البلدية مدعومة بآليات ثقيلة على إنشاء سواتر ترابية في محيط منطقة تل السمن شمالي البلدة، في محاولة لاحتواء تدفق المياه ومنع وصولها إلى المنازل، خاصة بعد اقترابها من الأحياء الشرقية
ودعت الجهات المحلية السكان القاطنين بالقرب من مجرى النهر إلى الابتعاد واتخاذ إجراءات السلامة اللازمة، تحسبًا لأي ارتفاع إضافي قد يفاقم الوضع
في السياق، أوضح رئيس جمعية مرج درويش في حزيمة خلف الحوري، أن النهر شهد فيضانات خلال الأيام الماضية نتيجة ارتفاع منسوبه، ما تسبب بتدفق المياه باتجاه الأراضي الزراعية وإغراقها، وأشار إلى أن الحل الأكثر إلحاحًا يتمثل في عزل المصارف الزراعية، ولا سيما المصرفين 27 و28، لكونهما يشكلان ممرًا رئيسيًا لتدفق المياه المحملة بالأتربة نحو القنوات الفرعية
وبيّن الحوري أن الأضرار طالت نحو 5000 دونم من الأراضي الزراعية، يعتمد عليها أكثر من 200 أسرة كمصدر رئيسي للدخل، مؤكدًا أن المزارعين تكبدوا خسائر كبيرة بعد تلف محاصيلهم، في ظل أعباء مالية متراكمة نتيجة تكاليف الزراعة من بذار ومحروقات وخدمات
وأضاف أن مراقبة وضع النهر كانت مستمرة منذ عدة أيام، حيث بقيت الأمور تحت السيطرة في البداية قبل أن تتدهور مع استمرار ارتفاع منسوب المياه
وطالب الحوري الجهات المعنية، وخاصة المحافظة ومديريات الري والتشغيل والصيانة، بالتدخل العاجل واتخاذ تدابير فورية للحد من الأضرار
من جهته، أكد عضو لجنة الطوارئ في مجلس البلدة، جمعة محمد الفارس، أن الاستجابة الحالية تتضمن تجهيز الآليات والمعدات للتدخل السريع عند الحاجة، بالتوازي مع التنسيق مع مديرية الخدمات الفنية لتعزيز مجاري المياه، لا سيما عند الجسور والمواقع الأكثر عرضة للخطر، مع متابعة ميدانية يومية لتطورات الوضع
