فاز يوم أمس أوزغور أوزيل البالغ من العمر 49 عامًا على الرئيس الحالي كليجدار أوغلو، الذي خسر الانتخابات الرئاسية في نهاية مايو أمام زعيم حزب العدالة والتنمية أردوغان.
وحصل أوزيل على نحو 60 بالمئة من الأصوات في مؤتمر الحزب في أنقرة أمس السبت بعد أن قدم نفسه كمرشح للتغيير. ويتولى زعامة حزبه في البرلمان التركي منذ الصيف. ويعتبر من المقربين من والي اسطنبول إمام أوغلو.
ودخل حزب الشعب الجمهوري في أزمة بعد الهزيمة الانتخابية التي مني بها كليجدار أوغلو البالغ من العمر 74 عاما. وكانت هناك دعوات لاستقالته.
وقال الخبير التركي فريدريش بوتمان لصحيفة تاجشبيجل إن حزب الشعب الجمهوري ليس في حالة جيدة “لكي نكون صادقين، علينا أن نقول إن حزب الشعب الجمهوري ليس في حالة جيدة”. ولم تؤد صراعات المعسكر بين “فريق كيليجدار أوغلو” و”الإصلاحيين” بقيادة رئيس بلدية إسطنبول أكرم إمام أوغلو، إلى مزيد من الديمقراطية داخل الحزب، بل إلى تمزيق الحزب داخليا. ويتوقع بوتمان ذروة جديدة في الخلافات في مؤتمر الحزب.
