ذكرت وكالة إخلاص التركية turkiyetoday الأحد 13 تشرين الأول (أكتوبر) أن وزارة الداخلية التركية وجهت نداءً أخيرًا للاجئين السوريين في تركيا ، حيث لم يقم أكثر من 200 ألف شخص بتحديث عناوينهم، وسيتم إلغاء تسجيل أولئك الذين فشلوا في تحديث بياناتهم اعتبارًا من الأول من تشرين الثاني (نوفمبر).
و أضافت الوكالة : وعلى مدى الأشهر السبعة أو الثمانية الماضية، عملت وزارة الداخلية على تحديث البيانات المتعلقة باللاجئين السوريين في تركيا. وتضمنت هذه المبادرة عملية التحقق من العناوين لضمان دقة سجلات الأفراد السوريين المقيمين في البلاد. في البداية، تم تخصيص 90 يومًا لتحديث العناوين، تليها 60 يومًا إضافية، والتي ستنتهي في نهاية شهر أكتوبر.
وعن عواقب عدم الامتثال للتحديث قالت الوكالة : “سيتم حذف تسجيلات السوريين الذين لا يقومون بتحديث عناوينهم بحلول نهاية الشهر، ولن يتمكنوا من الوصول إلى أي خدمات حكومية، مما يضعهم فعليًا في وضع “غير قانوني”. ومع اقتراب الموعد النهائي لتحديث العنوان في أوائل تشرين الثاني (نوفمبر)، من المتوقع أن يصبح العدد الدقيق للسوريين المتبقين في تركيا أكثر وضوحًا، حيث تشير التقديرات إلى أن العدد قد ينخفض إلى أقل من 2.9 مليون.
وبحسب الوكالة تشير السجلات السابقة إلى أن نحو 3.1 مليون سوري ما زالوا يقيمون في تركيا. كما أشارت مصادر أمنية إلى زيادة في عودة السوريين إلى وطنهم في عام 2024 مقارنة بالسنوات السابقة، بمعدل 11 ألف سوري ينتقلون كل شهر إلى المناطق الآمنة الأربع التي أنشأتها تركيا في سوريا. ومنذ عام 2016، عاد نحو 720 ألف سوري إلى وطنهم.
