شهد معبر جديدة يابوس الحدودي في ريف دمشق، يوم الثلاثاء 18 آذار، وصول أول مجموعة من السوريين الذين كانوا محتجزين في السجون اللبنانية، وفي مقدمتها سجن رومية، وذلك في إطار تنفيذ اتفاق مشترك بين دمشق وبيروت يقضي بنقل المحكومين.
وذكر مصدر لـ”الإخبارية” أن الجهات السورية باشرت تنفيذ بنود الاتفاق بالتنسيق بين وزارات الخارجية والعدل والداخلية، موضحًا أن الاتفاق ينص على إعادة المحكومين السوريين من لبنان إلى سوريا لاستكمال مدة محكومياتهم وفق القوانين النافذة.
وبلغ عدد الذين نُقلوا في الدفعة الأولى 132 شخصًا، جرى تسليمهم عبر المعبر بعد استكمال الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة من الجانبين، في خطوة تُعد بداية لعمليات نقل لاحقة يُنتظر تنفيذها تباعًا مع استكمال ملفات بقية الموقوفين.
وفي هذا السياق، أوضح القائم بأعمال السفارة السورية في لبنان، إياد هزاع، أن العملية انطلقت فعليًا مع تسلّم الدفعة الأولى، مؤكدًا استمرار العمل على نقل بقية المحكومين فور الانتهاء من الإجراءات القانونية المطلوبة.
وأشار هزاع إلى أن تنفيذ الاتفاق جاء نتيجة تنسيق مستمر بين الجهات المختصة في البلدين ضمن إطار قانوني منظم، لافتًا إلى أن هذه الخطوة تندرج في سياق التعاون القضائي والإنساني القائم بين الجانبين.
كما بيّن أن نقل المحكومين إلى بلادهم يتيح متابعة أوضاعهم ضمن بيئتهم القانونية والاجتماعية، مشيدًا بتعاون السلطات اللبنانية، ولا سيما الجهات القضائية والأمنية، في تسهيل إنجاز هذه العملية.
وتقتصر الاتفاقية على المحكومين الذين صدرت بحقهم أحكام قضائية نهائية، ولا تشمل من لا تزال قضاياهم قيد النظر، بما يضمن الالتزام بالإجراءات القانونية المعتمدة في كلا البلدين.
