طالب وزير الخارجية والمغتربين التابع للنظام فيصل المقداد اليوم بضرورة الحفاظ على دور مجلس حقوق الإنسان وآلياته، متجاهلًا ما قام به النظام السوري من قتل وتشريد لملايين السوريين وانتهاك لحقوق المدنيين.
وزعم المقداد في كلمة عبر الفيديو أمام مجلس حقوق الإنسان في جنيف بأن حكومة النظام تتطلع للعمل في ميدان حقوق الإنسان على أساس المبادئ التي نص عليها ميثاق الأمم المتحدة، متجاهلًا قرارات مجلس الأمن التي نددت بالانتهاكات الفاضحة والمعممة لحقوق الإنسان والتي يرتكبها النظام السوري، ودعوته إلى الوقف الفوري لأعمال العنف ضد المتظاهرين.
وزعم المقداد بأن الحصار تسبب بمعاناة إنسانية هائلة و حدّ من التمتع بحقوق الإنسان الأساسية للشعب السوري، دون أن يذكر معاناة الشعب السوري جراء قصف قوات النظام والاعتقالات التعسفية والتغييب القسري الذي يمارسه النظام ما أدى إلى انهيار المستوى الاقتصادي وضعف الدخل لدى الأهالي وحالة فقر شديد لدى معظم المدنيين، إضافة إلى القتل والتشريد.
وبخصوص كارثة الزلزال قال المقداد بأنها عمقت الظروف القاسية التي تمر بها المناطق السورية منذ 12 عامًا، ولمواجهة ذلك تم إطلاق خطة استجابة طارئة للتعامل مع تداعيات الكارثة، رغم أن هذه الظروف القاسية سببها النظام السوري والميليشيات الإيرانية والقوات الروسية وميليشيا “حزب الله” وغيرها من القوات الرديفة للنظام، وسرقة المسؤولين للمساعدات الإغاثية والإنسانية القادمة من الدول إلى متضرري الزلزال في مناطق سيطرة النظام وتخزينها في المستودعات وبيعها وفق صحف محلية.
وصرّح المقداد بأن حكومة النظام تدين “الانتهاكات الجسيمة لحقوق الإنسان التي تواصل قوات الاحتلال وعصابات المستوطنين ارتكابها في الجولان السوري المحتل والأراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة، متجاهلًا ما ارتكبه النظام السوري والقوات المساندة له من جرائم ومجازر وانتهاكات بحق المدنيين السوريين، حتى خلال أيام كارثة الزلزال لم تسلم مناطق الشمال السوري من القصف المدفعي والجوي من قبل قوات النظام.
