كشفت مصادر دبلوماسية عن اجتماع عُقد في دمشق خلال الأيام الماضية، جمع مسؤولين سوريين وأتراك، لبحث ترتيبات جديدة تتعلق بتنظيم حركة العبور بين البلدين، خاصة عبر المعابر البرية، على أن يبدأ تنفيذ التسهيلات المرتقبة مع حلول شهر حزيران المقبل
وأوضح مصدر لموقع تلفزيون سوريا أن النقاشات تناولت سبل تخفيف القيود المفروضة على سفر السوريين إلى تركيا، عبر تبسيط إجراءات منح سمات الدخول، مع دراسة إمكانية إصدار تأشيرات تمتد صلاحيتها حتى ستة أشهر، إضافة إلى إعادة السماح بدخول السوريين بسياراتهم الخاصة، في إطار مساعٍ لتقليل التعقيدات الإدارية وتسهيل حركة التنقل
وفي سياق إعادة هيكلة المعابر، أفادت مصادر في معبر الحمام الحدودي بصدور قرار يقضي بإغلاقه، وهو المعبر الواقع في ناحية جنديرس بمدينة عفرين والمقابل لمدينة الريحانية في ولاية هاتاي التركية، وذلك بهدف تركيز حركة العبور في معبر باب الهوى القريب، كونه أكثر تجهيزًا من الناحية الفنية والإدارية
وعلى الجبهة العراقية، شدد رئيس هيئة المنافذ الحدودية، عمر عدنان الوائلي، على أهمية التعجيل بإعادة افتتاح منفذ ربيعة الحدودي مع سوريا، معتبرًا أن تشغيله سيمثل دفعة قوية لحركة التجارة البينية، ويسهم في تعزيز موارد الدولة غير النفطية
وذكرت هيئة المنافذ الحدودية العراقية، في بيان أوردته وكالة الأنباء العراقية (واع)، أن الوائلي أجرى جولة ميدانية إلى منفذ ربيعة برفقة فرق فنية من محافظة نينوى، للوقوف على احتياجاته الخدمية والفنية، ووضع تصور لإعادة تأهيله بالتنسيق بين الحكومة المحلية والهيئة تمهيدًا لإعادة تشغيله
من جهة أخرى، أعلنت الهيئة العامة للمنافذ والجمارك إغلاق منفذ رأس العين الحدودي مع تركيا مؤقتًا، بهدف إخضاعه لأعمال إعادة تأهيل شاملة قبل وضعه مجدداً في الخدمة
وبيّنت الهيئة أن القرار جاء عقب زيارة تقييمية أجراها وفد من رئاستها إلى المنفذ في ريف الحسكة، حيث تبيّن أنه يعاني من ضعف كبير في البنية التحتية ونقص في التجهيزات الأساسية، سواء في صالات المسافرين أو ساحات الشحن، بما لا يتوافق مع متطلبات العمل الحدودي ومعايير السلامة المعتمدة
وأكد مدير العلاقات العامة في الهيئة، مازن علوش، أن الإغلاق سيستمر إلى حين إعداد وتنفيذ خطة متكاملة لإعادة بناء المنفذ وتأهيله، مع استمرار السماح بمرور الحالات الإنسانية والمرضى والشحنات الإغاثية خلال فترة الإغلاق
