افتتحت منظمة المركز العربي لدراسات المناطق الجافة والأراضي القاحلة (أكساد)، في دمشق، دورة تدريبية متخصصة بعنوان “تحليل البيانات المكانية والوصفية ومواكبة التقانات الحديثة المستخدمة علمياً”، وذلك برعاية وزير الزراعة المهندس باسل السويدان، وبحضور معاون الوزير المهندس تمام الحمود وعدد من المختصين والكوادر الفنية في القطاع الزراعي.
وأكد المدير العام للمنظمة الدكتور نصر الدين العبيد، في كلمة ألقاها نيابة عنه مدير إدارة الأراضي واستعمالات المياه الدكتور أحمد سيد أحمد، أهمية تعزيز التعاون مع وزارة الزراعة السورية في مجالات بناء القدرات وتوظيف التقنيات الحديثة لخدمة التنمية الزراعية المستدامة.
وأوضح أن الدورة تندرج ضمن برامج أكساد الرامية إلى تطوير مهارات المختصين في استخدام تقنيات الاستشعار عن بعد ونظم المعلومات الجغرافية، بما يدعم مراقبة المحاصيل وإدارة الموارد الطبيعية وتحليل البيانات المكانية وتحسين كفاءة المشاريع الزراعية.
من جانبه، شدد المهندس تمام الحمود على أهمية تطوير القدرات الوطنية في مجالات تحليل البيانات المكانية واستخدام التقنيات الحديثة لدعم التخطيط الزراعي واتخاذ القرار المبني على البيانات، مشيداً بالتعاون العلمي والفني القائم بين وزارة الزراعة ومنظمة أكساد.
وتستمر الدورة حتى 25 حزيران الجاري، متضمنة تدريبات نظرية وعملية تهدف إلى تعزيز قدرات المشاركين في إدارة الموارد الطبيعية ورصد التغيرات البيئية ومواجهة التحديات المناخية.
