انحسرت مياه البحر المتوسط أمام شواطئ شمال سيناء في ظاهرة غريبة ما أثار تخوّف الأهالي من أن يكون الزلزال الذي ضرب تركيا وسوريا مؤخراً سبب هذه الظاهرة.
نشرت قناة القاهرة 24 اليوم بأنّ أهالي مدينة العريش، فوجئوا السبت من تراجع ملحوظ في شاطئ البحر المتوسط قبالة شاطئ مدينة العريش وعدد من الشواطئ بمنطقة الرواق بمدينة بئر العبد بشمال سيناء.
وأضاف الأهالي أن تراجع الشاطئ تراوح ما بين 10 إلى 15 متر، وهذه ظاهرة تحدث لأول مرة.
كما صرح الدكتور صالح عزب استشاري التنمية المستدامة ومستشار وزير البيئة الأسبق بأنّ تلك الظاهرة طبيعية وتسمى بظاهرة المد والجزر.
وأضاف عزب أن مياه البحر المتوسط التي تراجعت سوف تعود إلى مكانها مرة أخرى للشاطئ، مشيرًا إلى أن تلك الحركة تعد ميزة وليست عيبا لأنها ظاهرة طبيعة.
وعقب الهزّات الارتدادية التي شهدها لبنان إثر الزلزال الذي ضرب تركيا قبل أكثر من 10 أيّام، تحدّث ناشطون مؤخراً عن حصول تصدّعات في صخور أحد شواطئ منطقة عدلون – جنوب لبنان، فيما تحدث آخرون عن انحسار مستوى مياه البحر في المنطقة نفسها.
وأوضح الخبير في علم الزلازل ويلسون رزق أنّه لا علاقة أبداً بالهزات أو الزلزال الأخير بتراجع مستوى مياه البحر في تلك المنطقة أو في أي منطقة أخرى.
كما أشار رزق إلى أنَّ هناك الكثير من العوامل الطبيعية التي تؤدي إلى تصدّعات في بعض الصخور البحرية، وقال: “الربط بين الزلزال والهزات والتصدعات في صخور البحر إلى جانب تراجع مستوى المياه هناك، ليس دقيقاً بدرجة كافية” وفق لبنان 24.
