توفي اليوم الجمعة “صفوان قدسي” الأمين العام لحزب الاتحاد الاشتراكي عن عمر ناهز 82 عاماً وهو أحد أعضاء مجلس الشعب وشغل منصب وزير الدولة سابقاً.
بحسب صفحة “الخبير السوري جريدة الكترونية اقتصادية منوعة” توفي الوزير الأسبق والكاتب الأديب والسياسي صفوان قدسي، وهو عضو القيادة المركزية للجبهة الوطنية التقدمية.
وفي منشور على فيسبوك قال الإعلامي الموالي “مجد الحسين” أن قدسي حصل على إجازة في الفلسفة من جامعة دمشق، وشغل مناصب عديدة منها أمين تحرير مجلة المعرفة ورئيس تحرير في نفس المجلة بين أعوام 1972-1978 كما كان عضواً في اتحاد كتاب العرب.
وانتخب قدسي عضواً في مجلس الشعب عام 1977 ووزيراً للدولة بين عامي 1978-1980، كما كان عضواً في جمعية البحوث والدراسات، عدا عن أنه كان عضواً في القيادة المركزية للجبهة الوطنية التقدمية منذ عام 1981 والأمين العام لحزب الاتحاد الاشتراكي منذ عام 1983.
وكان قدسي من أبرز الموالين لنظام الأسد وحزبه الحاكم حيث ظل في الجناح الموالي للسلطة بعد حدوث انشقاقات في حزبه، وكان ينفذ ويصوت لكافة ما يطلبه منه حزب البعث، وله مؤلفات عديدة تمجد نظام الأسد من بينها “البطل والتاريخ، قراءة في فكر حافظ الأسد السياسي” و “حافظ الأسد وعالمه الرحيب”
