وتزامنًا مع وصول الوفد الدولي، شهد ريف القنيطرة الجنوبي توغلًا جديدًا لقوات الاحتلال، حيث دخلت قوة عسكرية إسرائيلية مؤلفة من عدة آليات إلى قرية صيدا الحانوت، وأقامت حاجزًا عند مدخلها، قبل أن تنفذ عمليات تفتيش لعدد من المنازل
وأوضح مراسل الإخبارية في القنيطرة أن القوة المتوغلة ضمّت ست آليات عسكرية، قامت بتفتيش أربعة منازل داخل القرية، إضافة إلى نصب أربعة حواجز عسكرية في محيط المنطقة
وكانت قوات الاحتلال قد نفذت، سلسلة توغلات مماثلة شملت عددًا من قرى ريف القنيطرة، حيث تقدمت قوة عسكرية مؤلفة من ثماني آليات انطلاقًا من نقطة العدنانية باتجاه قرى أم العظام ورويحينة، مرورًا برسم الحلبي والمشيرفة وأم مباطنا
وتشهد مناطق الجنوب السوري انتهاكات إسرائيلية متكررة ومتزايدة، تتضمن توغلات عسكرية وعمليات تفتيش ومداهمات واعتقالات، في خرق واضح لاتفاقية فصل القوات لعام 1974 وقرارات مجلس الأمن الدولي
