أجرى وزير الاقتصاد والصناعة السوري نضال الشعار، سلسلة لقاءات مع منظمات سورية عاملة في الولايات المتحدة، في إطار مساعٍ لتطوير العلاقات الاقتصادية بين دمشق وواشنطن وفتح آفاق جديدة للتعاون بين الجانبين
وخلال اللقاء، ثمّن الشعار الدور الذي تلعبه تلك المنظمات في تمثيل سوريا داخل المجتمع الأمريكي، مشيدًا بجهودها في الترويج للاقتصاد السوري والسعي إلى رفع العقوبات المفروضة على البلاد، وأوضح أن الاجتماع جاء تقديرًا لمساهماتها الفاعلة في تعزيز الحضور السوري على الساحة الأمريكية، مؤكدًا أن بناء جسور تواصل مع هذه الكيانات يشكل خطوة محورية لتقوية الروابط الاقتصادية مستقبلًا
وأشار الوزير إلى أن هذا اللقاء يأتي استكمالًا لجولة رسمية بدأها الوفد السوري قبل أسبوع، شملت اجتماعات مع الحكومة الأمريكية، وغرفة التجارة الأمريكية، وعدد من مراكز الأبحاث، والتجمعات التجارية، إضافة إلى نواب في الكونغرس، وبيّن أن المحادثات مع الجانب الأمريكي أسفرت عن تفاهمات أولية بشأن ملفات اقتصادية مشتركة، يجري العمل على دراستها بشكل أعمق خلال المرحلة المقبلة
وأكد الشعار أن الاستفادة من خبرات الكفاءات السورية في المهجر باتت ضرورة ملحّة لدعم عملية التعافي الاقتصادي، لافتاً إلى أن تنوع اختصاصات أعضاء تلك المنظمات بين الهندسة، والطب، والصناعة، والاستثمار يمثل فرصة حقيقية لإطلاق مشاريع نوعية تسهم في نقل وتوطين التكنولوجيا داخل سوريا
وأوضح الوزير أن المرحلة القادمة تتركز على إدخال التكنولوجيا الحديثة وتطويرها في القطاعات الإنتاجية والخدمية، مبديًا ترحيب الحكومة السورية بأي شركة أمريكية تبدي استعدادها للاستثمار في هذا المجال، كما شدّد على أن وزارة الاقتصاد تعمل حاليًا على تبسيط الإجراءات وتسهيل دخول الاستثمارات الأجنبية بما يضمن سرعة التنفيذ وشفافية العمل بعيدًا عن التعقيدات الإدارية
وفي ختام زيارته، أعرب الشعار عن تقديره لحفاوة الاستقبال التي لقيها الوفد السوري من المؤسسات الأمريكية الرسمية والخاصة، مؤكدًا أن الدعوات المتكررة لتجديد الزيارة تعكس رغبة متبادلة في تعزيز التعاون الاقتصادي بين البلدين وفتح صفحة جديدة من التواصل البنّاء
