ذكر المرصد السوري لحقوق الإنسان اليوم الأحد 7 كانون الثاني (يناير) أن قوات سوريا الديمقراطية، أغلقت جميع المعابر النهرية مع مناطق سيطرة قوات النظام والميليشيات الموالية لإيران على الضفة المقابلة لنهر الفرات بريف دير الزور الغربي، إثر محاولة تسلل من قبل مسلحين محليين.
وأضاف المصدر أن ذلك تزامن ذلك مع اشتباكات مسلحة بين عناصر من قسد ومسلحين محليين في بلدة زغير الجزيرة بريف دير الزور الغربي، إلى جانب تبادل إطلاق النار بقذائف الهاون والرشاشات الثقيلة بين الطرفين. ومع ذلك، لم يتم الإبلاغ عن وقوع إصابات.
وكان المرصد السوري قد رصد أول من أمس الجمعة قيام قوات سوريا الديمقراطية بتركيب معدات إنارة على خط نهر الفرات في بلدة الشحيل المقابلة لبلدة بقرص بريف دير الزور الشرقي، لمنع دخول المقاتلين المحليين والمسلحين الموالين للنظام إلى مناطق سيطرة قوات سوريا الديمقراطية.
ويأتي ذلك بعد تصاعد الهجمات وعمليات التسلل نحو مناطق قوات سوريا الديمقراطية التي تسيطر على مناطق شرق الفرات مع قوات التحالف الدولي.
