تستضيف القاهرة غدًا اجتماعًا استثنائيًّا طارئًا لأعضاء جامعة الدول العربية لتصويت على عودة سوريا للجامعة في الوقت الذي يهدد فيه الأردن على إنهاء تجارة المخدرات عبر حدوده حتى لو لجأ لعمل عسكري فيها.
نشرت شبكة CNN أمس تصريح مسؤول- لم تسمه-كشف عن جلسة استثنائية غدًا بهدف التصويت حول إلغاء تجميد عضوية سوريا في الجامعة العربية.
أضاف الدبلوماسي أنّه إذا تمت الموافقة على عضوية سوريا، فمن المحتمل جدًّا أن يترأس رأس النظام بشار الأسد ، وفد بلاده خلال القمة العربية التي تحتضنها الرياض في يوم 19 مايو وفق المصدر.
واجهت إعادة تأهيل سوريا معارضة من الدول الغربية حيث قالت الولايات المتحدة إنها “لن تطبع العلاقات مع نظام الأسد ونحن لا ندعم تطبيع الآخرين مع دمشق أيضًا” ، وفقًا لنائب المتحدث باسم وزارة الخارجية فيدانت باتيل.
قال باتيل في إحاطة إعلامية بالوزارة مؤخرًا : “لقد أوضحنا ذلك بشكل واضح لشركائنا”. “تعتقد الولايات المتحدة أن الحل السياسي المنصوص عليه في قرار مجلس الأمن الدولي رقم 2254 هو الحل الوحيد القابل للتطبيق لهذا الصراع في سوريا.
وهدد وزير الخارجية الأردني أيمن الصفدي بتصريح لذات المصدر أنّ بلاده تريد إنهاء المخدرات باتجاه بلاده حتى لو اضطرت للخيار العسكري داخل مناطق النظام .
تشهد الحدود الأردنية بين الحين والآخر عدة محاولات لتهريب المخدرات من مناطق سيطرة النظام بأعداد كبيرة جدًا.
