ووفق الأصوات التي رصدها المركز الصحفي السوري فإنّ ميلشيا فاطميون المدعومة من قبل إيران ارتكبت مجزرة مروّعة بحق ما لا يقل عن 35 شخصًا بين قتيل ومفقود بينهم نساء مسنّات من عشائر بني خالد والموالي والعمور أثناء جمعهم الكمأة جنوب شرق مدينة السخنة بريف حمص.
في حين اختلفت رواية وسائل إعلام النظام الذي اعتاد الترويج لوجود “داعش” في المنطقة للتغطية على جرائم عناصره، حيث ذكرت شام إف إم إنّ 53 شخصًا بينهم 7 عسكريين قتلوا جرّاء كمين نفذه عناصر يتبعون لتنظيم الدولة “داعش” لهم أثناء جمعهم الكمأة في ريف السخنة.
ولم نتمكّن في المركز الصحفي السوري من الوصول إلى مصدر موثوق حيادي في المنطقة لتأكيد إحدى الروايات ونفي الأخرى.
الجدير بالذكر أنّ الميليشيا المدعومة من قبل إيران ارتكبت سابقًا العديد من المجازر بحق المدنيين في ريف حمص كقتلها المتكرر لرعاة الأغنام في المنطقة.
