ترأس وزير الزراعة أمجد بدر اجتماع مجلس إدارة صندوق التخفيف من آثار الكوارث الطبيعية على الإنتاج الزراعي، الذي خُصص لمناقشة الخطط المستقبلية وتطوير آليات عمل الصندوق بما يعزز استدامة الإنتاج الزراعي في مواجهة التقلبات المناخية
وذكرت وزارة الزراعة عبر منصاتها الرسمية أن الاجتماع تناول بحث الميزانية التقديرية لعام 2025 وخطة النشاطات المقترحة، إلى جانب مناقشة مهام اللجان الفنية المركزية والفرعية في المحافظات، إضافة إلى لجان محلية على مستوى الوحدات الإدارية لتتولى مهام حصر الأضرار وتحديد نسب التعويض للمزارعين
كما تطرق المجلس إلى مقترح تعديل مسمى دائرة إدارة الكوارث الطبيعية ضمن الهيكل الإداري لمديرية دعم الإنتاج الزراعي، في إطار جهود الوزارة الرامية إلى رفع كفاءة الاستجابة للأزمات الزراعية وتطوير الأداء المؤسسي
من جانبه، استعرض المهندس محمد أبو حمود من دائرة التخفيف من آثار الكوارث الطبيعية عرضًا تفصيليًا حول ضوابط ومعايير التعويض، شمل أنواع الأضرار النباتية والحيوانية وآليات تقييمها ميدانيًا إضافة إلى الخطوات الإجرائية المعتمدة لصرف التعويضات وفق القوانين المرعية
ويُذكر أن الصندوق، الذي أُنشئ عام 2011، يُعد من الأذرع الحكومية الرئيسة لحماية الإنتاج الزراعي، حيث يهدف إلى دعم المتضررين من الكوارث الطبيعية والتغيرات المناخية وضمان استمرار العملية الإنتاجية في المناطق الريفية والزراعية
