كشف تحقيق استقصائي بأنّ مسؤولين كرواتيين رفيعو المستوى ارتكبوا انتهاكات ضد طالبي اللجوء، من خلال الإشراف المباشر على اتصالات سرية لردع المهاجرين المنحدرين من سوريا وأفغانستان وباكستان.
ونشرت وكالة Lighthouse Reports أمس على تويتر بأنّها وثقت الآلاف من الشهادات الشخصية لأشخاص تعرضوا للعنف على حدود الاتحاد الأوروبي.
وأضاف المصدر بأن هناك لقطات عالية الدقة لرد عنيف على الحدود مع البوسنة والهرسك، إلّا أنّ الجهات الرسمية نفت وقوع هذه الانتهاكات وأنكرتها وحذرت من نشرها.
كما قالت مصادر اشتركت بالتحقيق الاستقصائي إنّ كبار المسؤولين الكرواتيين ترأسوا مجموعة سرية على تطبيق “واتساب”، شاركت شرطة الحدود فيها معلومات حساسة وبيانات حول اعتقال طالبي لجوء، بين عامي 2019 و2020.
وفي سياق متصل أنقذ طاقم سفينة “جيو بارنتس” التابعة لمنظمة أطباء بلا حدود 440 مهاجرا قبالة السواحل الأوروبية الثلاثاء الفائت.
وقال الناجون إنهم أمضوا أربعة أيام في البحر ولم يكن لديهم طعام أو ماء خلال اليومين الأخيرين وفق المصدر ذاته.
