وثقت الشبكة السورية بمناسبة اليوم العالمي للصحافة مقتل 715 من الصحفيين والعاملين في مجال الإعلام منذ آذار 2011 بينهم 52 بسبب التعذيب على يد أطراف النزاع والقوى المسيطرة.
نشرت الشبكة السورية لحقوق الإنسان اليوم على موقعها تقريراً وثقت فيه مقتل 715 من الصحفيين والعاملين في مجال الإعلام، بينهم 7 أطفال، و6 سيدات (أنثى بالغة)، كما أنَّ من بينهم 9 من الصحفيين الأجانب، و52 قتلوا بسبب التَّعذيب.
وأضاف التقرير بأنّ ما لا يقل عن 1603 أصيبوا بجراح متفاوتة، وذلك على يد أطراف النزاع والقوى المسيطرة في سوريا منذ آذار/ 2011 حتى أيار/ 2023.
وتابع التقرير بأنه من بين المصابين 553 بينهم 5 أطفال، و1 سيدة، و5 صحفيين أجانب، و47 بسبب التعذيب داخل مراكز الاحتجاز، قتلوا على يد قوات النظام السوري، و24 على يد القوات الروسية .
وأكدّت الشبكة أنَّ النظام السوري وحليفه الروسي مسؤولان عن قرابة 81 % من حصيلة الضحايا من الصحفيين والعاملين في مجال الإعلام.
الجدير ذكره بأنً النظام السوري اعتقل مؤخراً الصحفي عمر عبد الله المعروف بعمر دير ماما بسبب انتقاده للأوضاع المعيشية في مناطق سيطرة النظام وفق ما وثق ناشطون.
