بحضور وزير الاقتصاد والصناعة السوري الدكتور محمد نضال الشعار، عُقد اليوم في مدينة إسطنبول اجتماع الطاولة المستديرة لرجال الأعمال السوريين والأتراك وذلك في مقر مجلس العلاقات الاقتصادية الخارجية التركي (DEİK)، بمشاركة نخبة من رجال الأعمال من كلا البلدين
واستُهل الاجتماع بكلمة ترحيبية ألقاها رئيس مجلس العلاقات الاقتصادية الخارجية التركي نايل أولباك، أعقبتها كلمة لرئيس غرفة تجارة دمشق عصام الغرواتي، أكد فيها أهمية تطوير العلاقات الاقتصادية بين سوريا وتركيا والدفع نحو شراكات استثمارية مستدامة تخدم مصالح البلدين
وشهد اللقاء عرضًا قدمه الخبير الاقتصادي أيوب فورال أيدين ، تناول فيه نموذج الشراكة بين القطاعين العام والخاص، بالإضافة إلى عدد من المداخلات من ممثلي الشركات الحاضرة، الذين طرحوا رؤى عملية ومقترحات لتعزيز التعاون في مجالات التجارة والصناعة والاستثمار
وفي ختام الاجتماع تم التوقيع على بروتوكول رسمي لتأسيس مجلس الأعمال السوري – التركي، الذي من المتوقع أن يشكّل منصة فعالة لتوسيع مجالات التعاون الثنائي في مختلف القطاعات
كما شهد اللقاء توقيع عدد من بروتوكولات التعاون بين غرف الصناعة السورية والتركية، في خطوة تعكس رغبة الجانبين في إرساء شراكة اقتصادية طويلة الأمد
