افتتحت اليوم الخميس 19 تشرين الأول (أكتوبر) هيئة الهلال الأحمر الإماراتي المنطقة الخضراء في المخيم الإماراتي الأردني للاجئين في مريجيب الفهود، و سلمت للاجئين المنازل المستدامة و التي تم تصنيعها في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة من مواد مستدامة.
بحضور الشيخة شما بنت سلطان، الرئيس التنفيذي لهيئة مسرعات الإمارات المستقلة لتغير المناخ (UICCA). حيث قامت بغرس شجرة زيتون خلال زيارتها، وتم تسليم مفاتيح المنازل المستدامة الجديدة داخل المنطقة الخضراء إلى العائلات السورية.
أفادت وكالة أنباء الإمارات (وام) اليوم الخميس أن الشيخة شما بنت سلطان، الرئيس التنفيذي لمنظمة الإمارات العربية المتحدة المستقلة لمسرعات تغير المناخ (UICCA)، سلمت المفاتيح لمجموعة من الشباب السوريين المقبلين على الزواج كمساعدة لهم في حل مشكلة السكن.
وتحتوي المنطقة الخضراء في مخيم مريجيب الفهود على منازل صديقة للبيئة تم تصنيعها في دولة الإمارات باستخدام مواد مستدامة مثل سعف النخيل والموارد القابلة لإعادة التدوير.
