وجرى توقيع المذكرة من قبل رئيس مجلس إدارة مصرف سوريا المركزي عبد القادر حصرية، ورئيس الهيئة المركزية للرقابة والتفتيش عامر العلي، وذلك ضمن توجهات جديدة يعتمدها المصرف المركزي للالتزام بالمعايير والقوانين الدولية الخاصة بمكافحة غسل الأموال وتمويل الإرهاب
وأوضح المصرف المركزي عبر قنواته الرسمية أن هذه المذكرة تأتي في إطار استراتيجية شاملة تهدف إلى تطوير آليات الرقابة، وتعزيز التنسيق بين الجهات المعنية، بما يسهم في حماية النظام المالي ودعم الاستقرار الاقتصادي
من جانبه، وصف رئيس الهيئة المركزية للرقابة والتفتيش عامر العلي هذه الخطوة بأنها محطة مهمة في مسار تعزيز الشفافية ومكافحة الفساد، مؤكدًا أن مذكرة التفاهم الموقعة مع مصرف سوريا المركزي، ممثلًا بهيئة مكافحة غسل الأموال وتمويل الإرهاب، ستسهم في رفع مستوى التعاون وتبادل الخبرات والمعلومات بين الطرفين
وأشار العلي في تدوينة له على منصة “إكس” إلى أن هذه الشراكة تشكّل دعامة أساسية لبناء بيئة مالية أكثر أمانًا، واقتصاد قوي قائم على النزاهة والحوكمة الرشيدة
ويأتي توقيع هذه المذكرة استكمالًا لجهود سابقة، إذ كان وزير الداخلية أنس خطاب قد بحث في تشرين الثاني الماضي مع حاكم مصرف سوريا المركزي عبد القادر حصرية أهمية دور وزارة الداخلية في دعم الاستقرار المالي والاقتصادي، وتعزيز التنسيق المشترك لتطوير الإجراءات التنظيمية والإدارية
وشهدت تلك المباحثات استعراض سبل التعاون مع هيئة مكافحة غسل الأموال وتمويل الإرهاب، حيث تم الاتفاق حينها على إعداد مذكرة تفاهم لتعزيز تبادل المعلومات وتنسيق الجهود بين الجهات المعنية، استنادًا إلى المتابعة المباشرة لهذا الملف من قبل حاكم المصرف المركزي
