With all vindictive and malevolent spirit, Assad’s regime forces and the raciest militias advance to what has left of eastern Aleppo burned neighborhoods after pursuing the strategy of scorched earth through intensifying the fatal brutal raids against civilians and the destructive shells of the milestones in the city. In addition to following the strategy of besiegement and hunger to force women and children to kneel down.
Despite this dire situation, fighters in opposition factions try with simple weapons and little munitions that are running out, to fight off the attacking forces particularly speaking al-Sha’ar and Tarek Albab neighborhoods which are adjacent to the strategic neighborhoods of al-Sakhor and Jabal Bader which opposition factions have lost on last Monday.
The question concerning the Syrian people is, what does the few coming days hide, are they foretelling something worse?
Those miseries that Aleppo city is witnessing , foretells that regime forces and their allies ( Russia, Iran and Hezbollah) have not had enough blood through the military and security control of the besieged area that suffers starvation, aiming to punish the citizens who are trapped inside the city .
In this respect, UN Human Rights Commissariat expressed apprehension that regime forces backed by the pro militias and Syria Democratic Forces fighters would arrest and torture the civilians fleeing for their souls and the ones of who remained in engagements fronts, which Amnesty International does not exclude in the light of what it called the long term history and the black record of the Syrian regime in arbitrary detention and enforced disappearance.
Are those tired civilians living in the siege and hunger facing that fatal destiny?
UN emphasized that up to 16 thousands civilians,most of them women and children, have been forced by the military campaign to flee to regime areas, where the number does not include thousands others who headed areas inside eastern neighborhoods in the last passing days. WFP described the conditions of citizens in Aleppo with inclining to hellish living; exodus and deep pains in addition to what the photos spread on social media reveal the falling spirits and hunger people who are sleeping in the open air in the current freezing weather.
Even civil defense facility in eastern Aleppo announced total running out of fuel which points to becoming completely out of service.
In this dire situation, Abo-Khaled (a fighter in Aleppo Front) revealed to us his deep grieve describing Aleppo with the martyred city; he said:” Some partners and I did our best to help the civilians in Aleppo.. that martyred city that is bleeding severely. what Aleppo has witnessed is way beyond what humanity has ever witnessed. May Allah help who are still there facing brutal oppressive regime.
To sum up, all what we can offer this city is praying Allah to be with Aleppo poor citizens and for soon relief.
